Hi, I'm Ava! I am a multi-disciplinary creative based in Atlanta, GA, primarily working in the film industry. I have experience in many fields, including creative direction, costume design, photography, and more. I love challenging myself with new ways to create art.
I graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Communications, and through working with student magazines and other organizations, I quickly found a love for production. I've found that directing a team with a collaborative, hands-on approach to develop a curated product is incredibly rewarding. While I work across many mediums, using fabric to create art has been at the forefront for 17 years now. In my projects, I prioritize details, ensuring a nuanced end product I am proud of.
I have directorial work printed across three different magazines, in 5+ issues, with more to come. I've designed 13+ runway looks. I've also begun to take on commission work, most recently constructing a bespoke, corseted dress.
When I'm not logging late hours in front of my sewing machine, you will find me at concerts, reading, or swimming in a local spring. I am eager to explore new ventures, wherever they may take me.
